Thank you for letting us know about your new book. I went to the ACP website and read the two stories posted there. There are tears running down my face. Your description of “the three patients” is so moving – and instructive.
I don’t have any medical problems right now, and I like my physicians. But I’m going to order a copy right now because it sounds like it will help me be a more effective patient. And I’m curious to see what you say about the world of my doctors and nurses.

Congratulations on the new book! This is such an important topic for busy clinicians hoping to provide the best possible care for their patients.
Sometime I'd like to dialogue with you about this issue; it's near and dear to my heart too.

Dear Kate,
Let's plan on having a dialogue both on the blog and via email, ok? Pitch me an opener after you've had a chance to read the book, and we can begin. I'm looking forward to it.
With hope, Wendy
