You could hear a pin drop throughout my presentation to to the annual meeting of the American Society of Breast Diseases. That could mean only one thing:
These medical experts care. These medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, clinical nurse oncologists, and so on truly care about the people with the diseases they evaluate and treat everyday. And they want to know how they can care better.
So to the patients who are reading this blog, I hope you feel comforted by the knowledge that I'm out there advocating for you and that healthcare professionals are listening.

I do like the idea that patients have you as an advocate. Today, I'm off to a UCLA Cancer Survivor Day where doctors and other professionals give us information and answer questions.
