I launched this blog because I was convinced by others that I had to (see "Blog World"). At first I resented how blogging took away precious time and energy from my "real" writing -- books, articles and keynotes.
But no longer.
Hosting this conversation about Healthy Survivorship has become a vital part of my week. I appreciate all the comments, questions and encouragement.
Thank you to the healthcare professionals for spending some of your "off" time on this blog. Your voices from the front lines of patient care are invaluable.
Thank you to the caregivers for keeping me mindful of your crucial role in the Healthy Survivorship equation.
Thank you to the Healthy Survivors for sharing your stories and comments. You validate the challenges and triumphs of getting good care and living as fully as possible.
Thank you all for the personal emails, too, with the links to articles and videos and your suggestions for topics to be addressed on future posts.
Thank you all for helping me help others.
With gratitude, joy and hope on this day of thanksgiving, Wendy

And Thanks to You too! Happy Thanksgiving!
