Congratulations, Wendy! Is this your first grand baby? Isn't it great that you got to see this day? God bless you and the family.

Wendy S. Harpham, M.D.

Yes, this is my first grandchild. All those people who were by my side in the early 1990's appreciate the enormity of this milestone--a reality that was not imaginable.

I'm savoring holding the baby, of course. I'm also savoring the opportunity to support my daughter and son-in-law as they care for their newborn and adjust to their new roles.

Life is good.

Mazel tov Wendy. What a beautiful child -- and a happy grandma! I remember my real fear at my diagnosis was that I would not experience such milestones in my child's life. No grandchildren yet, but he has been married almost a year, and I really thought I would not see him walk down the aisle.

Congratulations and best wishes to you and your family.
I am so happy for you!
