"Imagine you know you have only a few months to live. What would you do with your remaining time?"
So begins my review of Last Acts, a book by palliative care clinician and researcher David Casarett, M.D.
Last Acts is the first book I can remember reading cover-to-cover and then immediately turning back to page 1 and re-reading cover-to-cover to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Don't worry if you are not a healthcare professional: Although my book review is geared toward the oncology professionals who read Oncology Times, Dr. Casarett wrote this book for a general audience. You'll have no trouble seeing the value of this book for patients and caregivers. [To read my review, click here]
