My computer crash on April 12th has been an "inconvenience" ever since. (Thank you, Diane Rose!)
May I ask you two favors?
First, if you have sent me personal emails in the past, please email me your contact information so I can begin to rebuild my address book.Despite repeated reassurances from the service personnel at the electronics store where I bought my computer, they have not yet been able to access my address book.
My second request has to do with the Dallas Lymphomathon on April 30th. This will be my eighth year in a row leading a team of walkers, Wendy's Eagles.
I'm sad because I had just begun my campaign to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation when my computer crashed (taking all my emails/notes/addresses related to the lymphomathon). So if you would like to support Wendy's Eagles, please go to I WANT TO SUPPORT WENDY'S EAGLES
Despite the computer hassles, I've had some fun. Sunday I delivered the keynote address for a survivors’ celebration in Modesto,CA. The staff and volunteers went to town with the “Happiness in a Storm” theme, dressing up in rain gear, using painted children’s rain boots as centerpieces and playing “Singing in the Rain.”
Before the first attendees arrived, we were goofing around and having a good time:
Wendy-
You are a beautiful human being. Thank you for your life lessons.

Wendy,
My parents used to live in Modesto. What a wonderful opportunity for you to encourage cancer survivors...and show so much joy while doing it. Brava!
