It was a little frightening to have my doctor spend an hour on me the other day. True, on most days my time is spent with his PA, a very well-trained and compassionate young woman who is skilled with history etc and gives this to him as a brief synopsis; he trusts her and she is his eyes and ears. With a routine visit you may not even get to see the doctor.

You always wait on my doctor; when time is needed, he simply "makes" it. Well, all the tests are done. Tomorrow I find out if surgery is again an option. My surgeon is very skilled; but he gives very little time. I actually prefer that from him; he clearly has "no time" for me.
